- How should a bra band fit?
- The band does most of the support, so it should be snug and level around your ribcage, staying put on the loosest hook. If it rides up, it is too loose. Most people need a smaller band than they think.
- How do I measure my band size?
- Wrap a soft tape snugly around your ribcage, directly under your bust, kept level. Round to the nearest inch. That measurement is close to your band size in UK-style sizing.
- If the band is wrong, do I change the cup too?
- Yes. Going down a band means going up a cup to keep the same volume, which is what sister sizes are. A 34DD and a 32DDD hold the same cup volume with a different band.
